We believe the difference maker for all entrepreneurs, proprietors and managers is leadership.

We are, at our core, a pro bono publishing platform.

We welcome content that furthers our objective and contributes meaningfully to our purpose and the community we serve. We reserve the right to make all decisions about what content gets published, and how. We welcome feedback and input, questions and comments. And we may choose, from time to time, to publish thoughtful commentary, important questions, and answers to those questions that we judge could broadly benefit the community we serve.

Our Objective

Our sole objective is to share concepts and principles, best practices and practical management tools that we know deliver better outcomes and results, because we are practitioners who have actually used the concepts, principles and practices.

We’ve experienced what works and, more importantly, what doesn’t work.

The best leaders are lifetime learners.

-A.G. Lafley

Our Core Beliefs

We believe the difference maker for all entrepreneurs, proprietors and managers of small for and not-for-profit enterprises is leadership.

We believe there are fundamentally three tasks of leaders

  1. Leading the thinking…or business strategy.

  2. Leading the decision making.

  3. Leading the doing or execution.

We believe further that effective leaders are made - not born. Anyone can learn to lead. Anyone can learn to lead more effectively and to deliver better results.

About AG Lafley

My name is AG Lafley and I am a business leader with over 50 years of experience including large Fortune 50 public companies, private start-ups, Non-Profits and public/private partnerships.

I am also a teacher and a writer with a practical approach to business strategy, management and leadership who coaches and mentors others to become more effective and more successful. I serve as a catalyst to help aspiring leaders become the best they can be.

I am also a non-profit leader and a philanthropist who wants to make a positive and lasting impact on the community in which I live and work.

I believe great leaders are made, not born and that anyone can learn to become a better business leader or strategist. The best leaders are lifetime learners who continue to search for concepts and principles, best practices and processes that make them, their team, their organization and the company better.

While my primary focus and interest remains business leadership, I have become increasingly interested and involved in non-profit leadership and philanthropy. I have always believed in being the change you want to see in the community in which you live and work and I carry that belief with me today.

Leading to Win combines these passions: business and non-profit leadership. It is a platform to teach best business practices: to advise, coach, and mentor future leaders who have the least access to formal business education or the corporate training at a Fortune500 company. These are the leaders and entrepreneurs of small businesses, nonprofits, consultants, freelancers and knowledge workers of all kinds who want to improve their business capabilities and skills.  I intend to share concepts and principles, best practices, and practical business management tools that work in the real world. Together, we will learn from what works and, as importantly, what doesn't work.

We are going to learn together. I will be posting a series of articles on topics of mutual interest. In addition, we will be sharing outside articles and videos of interest. And, we will be experimenting with short learning lessons. Some of these will be brief adaptations or excerpts of courses and seminars that have been well received by other leaders.  Others will be new offerings.

Let’s engage together. Let’s find answers to some of the questions and solutions to the challenges you might be facing. If you find Leading to Win relevant and applicable, please email and tell us how you are leading to win.
